Global Media Hub and Ark Media to Merge

Global Media Hub have announced they are merging with fellow publishing services company, ark media.

Following Global Media Hub’s purchase of Reach earlier this year (which gives clients access to exclusive corporate, residential and university sites across London) this merger will add to their portfolio of exclusive routes to market, says the company.

ark media owns racks across the UK’s cruise terminals giving publishers access to the cruise passenger market. In addition, ark offers digital solutions, exclusive access to the Eurotunnel flexi plus lounge, and publisher consulting services.

The companies will unite under the Global Media Hub umbrella with Matt Pryce joining as Commercial Director.

Managing Director of Global Media Hub, Stephanie Hyde commented, “We are very pleased to announce this union. ark media has access to a unique group of venues that we can now offer to publishers and I am delighted to welcome Matt Pryce to the Global Media Hub Team. Matt brings with him 15 years of experience having held senior positions at both publishers and distributors. He also has valuable, specialist expertise in the copy placement sector.”

Matt Pryce explained, “The services that Global Media Hub and ark media provide complement each other brilliantly. The combination of Global Media Hubs industry expertise and our exclusive routes to market will provide clients with a copy placement strategy that is both unique and robust. Free distribution is at the forefront of many publishers’ minds and I’m delighted to be working with Steph and the team on this exciting venture.”
