Henley Royal Regatta, 3rd – 7th July

Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best-known regatta in the world and is one of the highlights of the social calendar. It attracts up to 300,000 visitors over the five days and spectators are thrilled by 200 races of an international standard, including not only Olympians but also crews who are new to the event. Goodwood Festival of Speed, 4th – 7th July

This is an annual hill-climb featuring historic motor racing vehicles from the last 100 years, held in the grounds of Goodwood House and scheduled between Formula One events to allow teams and motoring fans to attend. This event typically attracts 100,000 daily visitors over the three-day period.

British Grand Prix, 12th – 14th July

The British Grand Prix is one of the oldest continuously staged Formula One Events. In 2018 the event saw a 7.8% increase in visitors, compared to 2017, attracting a total of 4,093,305 spectators over the duration of the event.

Cowes Week, 10th July – 17th August

Cowes Week is one of the UK's longest running and most successful sporting events. It now stages up to 40 daily races for around 1,000 boats and is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world. Cowes Week offers a great mix of competitive sailing and social activities. The 8,500 competitors range from Olympic and world class professionals to weekend sailors. King Power Gold Cup Polo, 17th & 21st July

Viscount Cowdray's estate, situated in the beautiful South Downs, has hosted Polo for 100 years and is widely recognised as the home of British Polo.
