Investec Derby Festival, 31st May – 1st June

Royal Ascot, 18th – 22nd June

Royal Ascot is one of Europe’s most famous and prestigious race meetings, attended by the Queen and several other members of the royal family. This event has remained a social highlight of the summer for the past 300 years and is as much about the high fashion as it is about the racing.



Wimbledon, 1st – 14th July

The Wimbledon Championship is the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. It has been held there since 1877 and is one of the four Grand Slam majors. At capacity the grounds cater for 38,500 people with 15,000 seats and 660 matches played over Wimbledon fortnight.


Henley Royal Regatta, 3rd – 7th July

Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best-known regatta in the world and is one of the highlights of the social calendar. It attracts up to 300,000 visitors over the five days and spectators are thrilled by 200 races of an international standard, including not only Olympians but also crews who are new to the event. Aside from the rowing, visitors can take in the ambience and enjoy the hospitality offered within the enclosures.


Goodwood Festival of Speed, 4th – 7th July

This is an annual hill-climb featuring historic motor racing vehicles from the last 100 years, held in the grounds of Goodwood House and scheduled between Formula One events to allow teams and motoring fans to attend. This event typically attracts 100,000 daily visitors over the three-day period.


British Grand Prix, 12th – 14th July

The British Grand Prix is one of the oldest continuously staged Formula One Events. In 2018 the event saw a 7.8% increase in visitors, compared to 2017, attracting a total of 4,093,305 spectators over the duration of the event.



Cowes Week, 10th July – 17th August

Cowes Week is one of the UK's longest running and most successful sporting events. It now stages up to 40 daily races for around 1,000 boats and is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world. Cowes Week offers a great mix of competitive sailing and social activities. The 8,500 competitors range from Olympic and world class professionals to weekend sailors. In excess of 100,000 spectators come to watch the sailing, enjoy the parties and live entertainment, and to experience the unique atmosphere.


The Open Championship, 14th – 21st July

The most prestigious tournament on the golfing calendar where the world’s top players will once again reconvene to compete for the famous Claret Jug. As usual, The Open will be attended by legions of golf enthusiasts and aficionados, corporate guests, and associated media.


King Power Gold Cup Polo, 17th & 21st July


A sparkling collection of celebrity guests and high octane sporting action are the twin hallmarks of the annual polo final for the King Cup Gold Cup at Cowdray Park. Viscount Cowdray's estate, situated in the beautiful South Downs, has hosted Polo for 100 years and is widely recognised as the home of British Polo. The event is rated one of the most exciting and stylish occasions of the English sporting season.


Qatar Goodwood Festival (Glorious Goodwood), 30th July – 3rd August

Glorious Goodwood is one of the highlights of the British horse-racing calendar drawing a highly sophisticated crowd of over 235,000 people.
